Now, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that the gunshot survivor recently endured a nasty divorce from her second husband – and was left out of his obituary! The 1992 incident shocked America after Amy was revealed to be Mary Jo’s first husband Joey Buttafuoco’s 16-year-old mistress. Amy became known as the “Long Island Lolita” after the crime. In 2012, Mary Jo found love again and tied the knot to Las Vegas resident Stuart Tendler. But according to shocking new documents, Radar has learned that Mary Jo’s endured a tumultuous divorce from her second husband just months before he died. According to an affidavit, Stuart informed the court that there was “NO possibility” he and Mary Jo planned on reconciling. “My wife and I entered into a bonafide marital relationship and co-habitated together as husband and wife. However, we are incompatible in marriage. That is, our likes, dislikes, tastes and personalities are so divergent we can no longer live together as husband and wife,” Stuart wrote. What’s more is a district court judge filed a behavior order in Mary Jo and Stuart’s divorce case, which included several guidelines of how the parties were to act once their divorce was finalized. The former couple was ordered to refrain from “abusive telephone calls” to one another, in addition to “no name calling,” “no foul language,” and to “avoid conflicts/contacts with the other party’s ‘significant other,’” according to the order. A joint petition signed by both Mary Jo and Stuart confirmed the two never had children and had no property nor debt to divide. Stuart was ordered to pay Mary Jo $800 per month in alimony for one year. The divorce was finalized in February 2018, and Radar has learned that Stuart died just months later on November 10. At the time of his death, Stuart was remarried to Maritza Tendler. To make matters worse, Stuart’s obituary made no mention of Mary Jo. Instead, his children are listed, as well as “his wife” Maritza. Last August, Mary Jo conducted an interview with Fox News, where she recalled the horrific memory of Amy shooting her in the head in the early 1990s. “This gun came out of nowhere. I didn’t see [a] gun, I didn’t know [Amy] had a gun. I had no idea,” she said. “I just felt this explosion, like somebody had a baseball bat and just swung it as hard as they could in the side of my head. That’s what I felt.” Mary Jo was miraculously saved by doctors but they were unable to remove the bullet. She then became addicted to pain meds and spent seven years at the Betty Ford Center.
