Consumer Behaviors. (FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW FOR MORE INFO) Consumer behavior means how individuals make decisions to spend their available resources like time, money, effort on consumption of different products and services. It includes what they buy, why they buy it, when they buy it, where they buy it, how often they buy it, and how often they use it. There are a lot of factors influencing consumer by decision-making process. Some are listed below:
• The Personal Factors are the individual factors to the consumers that strongly influences their buying behaviors. These factors vary from person to person that results in a different set of perceptions, attitudes and behavior towards certain goods and services. Above all the data like age, sex, place of domicile, occupational and economic conditions, personality and self-consciousness can founded here (HorskΓ‘, Sparke 2007)
• The Social Factors are the factors that are prevalent in the society where a consumer live in. The society is composed of several individuals that have different preferences and behaviors. The beliefs, values, attitudes, behaviors, and norms of the group are perceived to have relation upon the assessment, behaviors, and aspirations, and influence of another individual (Eva & Judit, 2010)
• The Psychological Factors are the factors that talk about the psychology of an individual that drive his actions to seek satisfaction. It includes motivation, perception, skills & knowledge, positions, personality, style of life (Brown, 2006)
