Vegeta is one of Dragon Ball’s most beloved characters, but just because the fans love him doesn’t mean he’s not a huge jerk. In fact, because he started out as a villain, he had quite a few terrible moments during his early appearances, with just as many coming after. Even as Vegeta got better as a person and grew to become a hero of Earth, he still had a few bad points and moments where he showed he can sometimes be the worst.
Some of these include pretty much every one of his appearances in the Saiyan Saga and the Namek Sagas, as well as the infamous Majin Vegeta moment in the Buu Saga and, of course, letting Semi-Perfect Cell become Perfect Cell. Throughout all of Dragon Ball Z, and even parts of Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta has shown that he still has a lot of jerk bones left in his body, even if he doesn’t really want to hurt anyone these days.
But Vegeta’s current kind status doesn’t stop him from being a bad guy, nor does it erase his evil past. Because of the ups and downs of Vegeta’s character arc, we decided to look back at all the time Vegeta was the absolute worst, from his first appearance in Dragon Ball Z to his most recent in Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
