On this episode, I will go over what is generally known as a "Pyramid Chord" (also known as a Bell Chord) which was used a lot during the Golden Age of Hollywood films. I discovered this technique after watching some classics like "Rebel Without a Cause" and "On the Waterfront." This has been widely used across cartoons and concert music. The music theory behind some of the examples I will present are a bit ambiguous and takes some detective work to figure out. Get to learn some of the things I've researched over the last few weeks!
