Samsung has been hard up and determined on cracking into the Gaming Monitor lineup for many years now. Even though they tend to own the rights to most cutting edge technology when it comes to screens. They don't quite have the gaming side nailed down. My personal opinion is because they have lacked the essential UI and/or Software that...well works for gamers.
As I dive into the mechanics of two gaming monitors (Predator XB272 and Mainly the Samsung CRG5), we see how Samsung has lacked in the past but has stepped up massively as far as gaming is concerned.
Some noteable upgrades:
-Nvidia G-Sync
-Better on Screen Menu
-Actual 240Hz (of course)
I do go over the differences (not many!) in the video and show you how to save $100 on a 240Hz monitor if you don't mind taking some time to calibrate the settings.
I break this down into 5 main categories:
1. Overall Asthetics (Very Simple): 01:52 (unbox) - 06:20 (out of box)
2. Gaming Capabilities and Visuals: 07:38
3. UHD Content Consumption (Youtube, etc.): 11:04
4. Adobe Premiere Pro Visuals (Real-To-Life): 14:25
5. My Opinion: 18:46
