MP Alice Wahome claims that Uhuru Kenyatta seeks to cling on to power

Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome has made a stinging attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta accusing him of a plot to remain in power, even after his term in office expires in 2022. the vocal lawmaker who was speaking today in Malindi claimed that the president together with ODM party leader Raila Odinga are out to hang onto power, using the current building bridges initiative report that is seeking to change the constitution. The Kandara MP said sentiments by a section of leaders including former Jubilee party stalwart David Murathe, COTU boss Francis Atwoli and Nominated Senator Beth Mugo can not be dismissed as inconsequential.
