Hornby Lord Beaverbrook leaving Borchester

Lord Beaverbrook was bought recently second hand from Hattons for UKP48. A real bargain. She runs beautifully and as per some advice from an old friend I have removed the centre wheel driving tyres. She still pulls 8 coaches with ease. I think in many ways she was one of the best of the old Battle of Britains that Triang and Hornby made.

Here she is leaving Borchester with the noon train to Exeter made up of 3 of the excellent Hornby Maunsell coaches.
