How does the Law of Karma work? While literally, the word karma means action, when we talk about karma, mostly, we are referring to the Law of Karma, the Law of Action and Reaction: what we give is what we get. We all pay for our actions, bad or good. Bad deeds bring us suffering, while good deeds bring us happiness. The only way to be free from the karmic debt is by realizing the truth of who we are.
