"Lami" (lə·mē') means delicious in Visayan language, my native language. And you may probably hear it several times on this video log. True enough, everything seems to be delicious during fiestas or the celebration of a town's patron saint here in the Philippines. Each household showcases their best of the best for the guests as part of the offering and thanksgiving for these saints.
In Metro Dumaguete, the patron saint is St. Catherine of Alexandria, and the feast day is on the 25th day of November every year.
Last year when I celebrated this day in 7 houses, I got hospitalized for mild kidney infection afterwards. Hmmmm, memories. This year, join me as I try to top my number of houses from last year. And I hope nothing ill happens during or after this event.
