Contrary to how it can sometimes feel, the appraisal process is not entirely out of your control. There are certain steps agents can (and should) take to prepare for this process. First, make sure that you only send the appraiser comps that support your case. If no such comps exist, don’t hurt yourself and your client by sending them anyway.
