The first video on the Mystery Auction Firebird.

After buying a custom-built mystery 1985 Firebird Trans Am from the salvage auction I started to discover it's history. The builder of this car reached out to tell me all about the project that took him 3 years to build and was presented to Pontiac in the early 90s. I thought it was related to the Pontiac Banshee concept and I was right! The builder is also a big name in the Knight Rider KITT community and so in this video, you learn the history of the car while we try and get the built crate engine started. That's right the long-time previous owner put over $10,000 into this car including a built engine, transmission and more. For $1,100 this is a steal especially if it runs. I dig deep with a boroscope and check off all the ideas I had and you guys had as to why this engine seems locked up, and the end result is pretty awesome.
