Concerned streaming recommendations for -2db TP masters to avoid distortion from lossy encoding? 1) This is not specifically a true peak problem; full scale digital peaks also hypothetically can cause distortion during conversion. 2) Just turn down your master before submission (assuming you're above -14 LUFs), or test the lossy encoding yourself 3) It's actually exceedingly rare: 128 kb/s mp3s off CD masters was the norm in early 2000s.
