We meet up with viewers and spend a lovely lunchtime sampling ales at the Land & Sea Brewery in Noosa. Then we leave the Duckpond and begin the short passage north to Double Island Point, about 50nm away. But, with little wind and engine issues the going is very slow and it takes us much longer than we anticipated.
We make it over the Wide Bay Sandbar and then disaster strikes. We now have a big decision to make…
