This is a talk that Phillip Moffitt gave at Seattle Insight Meditation Society on December 6, 2019. It is an exploration of “The Gap” — that interval of time when we lose mindfulness and intention which then leads to unwise speech and action. Phillip offers prescriptions for how we can close the three different kinds of gaps that can arise so that we can have more moment to moment awareness in our lives, live more skillfully, and be more at ease with ourselves.
