Over the past week, devastating floods have hit parts of England, with thousands of people being advised to evacuate their homes. Many are bracing for further flood chaos today, as more heavy downpours hit areas in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire overnight. Business owner Pam Webb has experienced the worst of this weather. She joins us this morning from Fishlake in Doncaster, where her spa has been left ruined and insurers are now saying they won't foot the bill. Someone else currently facing a flood crisis, is farmer Henry Ward. He’s seen his 250 acres of farmland turn into a sea, with the water so deep he’s having to use a boat to get to his marooned home. Alice Beer is joining him on his boat today to see first-hand the shocking impacts these floods have had. Alice will also be sharing her essential advice, for those like Pam desperately battling with insurance companies over the flood damage, and her tips for better insuring your home against such disasters.
