In the year fifty six after DC, I almost gave up on cutting my hair
but I did it for few months before starting my first job
I picked up hair on the floor and put them in my guitar
what would’ve happened if I’d changed my mind that day?
And I remember that day when I sold my mind
it was easier the time after I resigned myself
it took me years to realize that I was lying to myself
It didn’t take so long to change my life again

Today, I have no hair and no time machine
I can’t go back to the future but I can rejoice
because now I can live I can live my real life
and not the one that was written for me
