Tesla has been issuing upgrades to its software regularly during the past few months:
- increasing the accuracy of sensing the environment, with Tesla adding trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, and pedestrians over the years
- adding the capability to zoom in and out of the visualization, as well as moving around it to see 360 degrees around the car
As of now, Tesla’s Autopilot system has been primarily designed for highway driving, but CEO Elon Musk has recently said that it plans to include city driving by the end of the year
