(18 Nov 2019) Hong Kong police said on Monday that the protesters had targeted police and branded those action as a "murderous act." Speaking at the regular police news conference, Chief Superintendent of Police Public Relations Branch Kwok Ka-Chuen highlighted the event of when protesters rammed a private car into a group of advancing officers.
He confirmed that a police officer had fired a live-round.
He added that "rioters are so intent to murder our officer at all costs."
