Mwingi residents on Monday morning woke to a rude shock after a middle aged woman was found murdered inside her car. Confirming the early morning sad saga, Mwingi Central Sub county Administrator, Alex Mutemi, said that the woman’s body, was identified as that of Eunice Kiema was found at the Mwingi stocks market inside her personal car.
“We woke up this morning to sad news of loss of one of the tutors, a clinical officer at KMTC Mwingi through brutal murder,” stated the sub county administrator.
According to Mutemi, the deceased eyes had been gouged out, part of the legs burned and the body with several stubs of a sharp object.
The late is said to be married at Kyuso, Mwingi north sub county and born in Mui ward of Mwingi central.
“The body was picked up by the police from the crime department of the Mwingi police and the investigation has begun to ascertain the cruel early morning murder,” added Alex.
Mwingi central sub county police commander, Peter Mutuma said that his team together with DCIO’s office has already started investigations to ascertain the murder of Eunice.
Mutuma also stated that the incident is a very occurrence and it appears as if it was planned.
