Entrapment operation that led to the arrest of 4 Personnel from MPD NCRPO for extortion On November 13, 2019 @6:36PM, joint personnel of IMEG, RID, NCRPO and DID, MPD NCRPO conducted an entrapment operation at Baseco PCP, Station 5, MPD, Manila City which resulted in the arrest of the following PNP Personnel of the station police prescient:
-PCpl Nickson B Mina;
-PCpl Juan Carlo D Guzman;
-PCpl Fransis Mikko G Gagarin; and
-Pat Tom D Hikilan.
The four were members of the beat Patrol of Station 5, MPD. They were caught receiving the marked money amounting to Two hundred thousand pesos (200, 000.00) from the complainant identified as Alaysa M Panansang.
The operation stemmed when a walk in complainant, Alaysa M Panansang reported to IMEG Office that the four arrested PNP personnel demanded P500, 000. 00 to her but later lowered it to P200k in exchange for the release of his husband Kelvie Kamid Panansang who was allegedly arrested for Violation of RA 9165 last November 12, 2019.
Arrested personnel and recovered marked money, PNP IDs , issued short fire arms cal 9MMs are now under the custody of IMEG for proper disposition.
The 4 PNP personnel will be charged for extortion in criminal case and grave misconduct for admin case which carries a penalty of dismissal in the police service.
