"The Last Thing I Needed The First Thing This Morning" was written by Donna Farar, mother of Clay Rose (Gasoline Lollipops' front man). The song was originally recorded by Willie Nelson on Always On MY Mind, and more recently covered by Chris Stapleton on From A Room Vol.1. Donna has been co-writing a fair amount of songs with Gasoline Lollipops for their new album, All The Misery Money Can Buy, slated for release in 2020.
