With counting for the state assembly elections starting at 8 am October 24, and exit poll prediction of a clean saffron sweep in Maharashtra. It remains to be seen whether or how the political equation between the BJP and Sena play out, depending upon the numbers of seats each gets. While in 2014, the BJP won 122 seats, it aspires to achieve a majority mark of 145 seats this year, which will reduce their dependence on the Sena. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena need to win over 100 seats to secure parity with the BJP.
