Macron will decide the future of Brexit. Will he stick with Boris or fold to Merkel?

The Duran’s Alex Christoforou and Editor-in-Chief Alexander Mercouris discuss an unexpected outcome in the Brexit saga where French President Macron has clashed with the rest of the EU over the allowing a Brexit extension, as EU member states struggled to find common ground over how to respond to the deadlock in the UK parliament.

EU member states were unable to decide on a new exit date or the UK, with France refusing to commit to a long extension, something Merkel is adamantly pushing for. EU member state have sided with Merkel and her minion, EU council president Donald Tusk, who is pushing for an extension to be granted until January 31, 2020. 

The EU deadlock pushes the uncertainty over an extension into next week, which is Britain’s final week in the EU.
