[MUSIC PLAYING] My name is Chelsea Hunt.

I'm Jenny Richards.

Last April, Jenny and I heard a talk given by one of our Church leaders that asked us to serve the refugee community. When I heard those words, we felt very inspired to act. So we found an organization called Women of the World.

And they said, "We'd like you to meet a beautiful African woman named Francine and her two boys, Alan and [INAUDIBLE]." We've been able to help them kind of adjust by teaching them bus routes, how to grocery shop, work on English skills. We have seen movies with them, gone bowling. Try to keep things fun.

My kids think of the [INAUDIBLE] family as their family. My boys often say, "When am I going to go to my cousin's house?" Francine was a stranger, but quickly she became someone that is now part of my family.

She's shown me what it means to be resilient and brave.

And she has changed my heart forever.
