DDOT Urban Forestry Division Tree Inspection and Maintenance DDOT Trees is the Urban Forestry Division (UFD) whose primary mission is to keep the District's street canopy healthy, safe, and growing.

Street trees require significant attention and upkeep to ensure they maximize their environmental, social, and economic value while minimizing risk to property and life. This map shows current locations of scheduled street tree removal work.

Call or visit DC's 311 to request a street tree service. A certified arborist will inspect the tree within 30 days and, if work is required, it will be completed within 9 months to account for citywide workload and different phases.
