The Tesla Gigafactory Europe is now closing in on its target location, rumored to be lower Saxony in Germany. Then we also talk about the return of the fancy Aptera 2e, a Swiss mining truck that never has to be charged, and the bad Tesla customer stories and service problems. ---------------------------- NAVIGATION THROUGH THE VIDEO: ----------------------------
14 Now it seems that a location for the Tesla factory expansion is coming, and the target location now seems to be lower Saxony in northern Germany. A Tesla factory Germany would create up to 2000 jobs in that region, which could prove quite beneficial for the German economy, since the ICE car makers are struggling and will have to even cut back a lot of jobs. We speculate about a future Germany in the year 2030 where lots of people will work for CATL in Erfurt and the Tesla factory in Europe, instead of their old employers at Daimler, VW, BMW, and others.
10 In China on the other hand, first trial production runs of the Model 3 have begun in Gigafactory 3, with an estimated 3000 Model 3s being produced there by the end of the year. However, due to a weakening yuan and the the Tesla trade war china, Tesla will have to raise prices for their cars. Fortunately, Tesla has been exempt from the 10% Sales tax in China, effective immediately, which certainly will help to counterbalance the other developments.
29 After many inspiring discussions in the comment section with our loyal viewers, we think that we might actually reach 90% market penetration of EVs already by 2030.
29 We then proceed to talk about an electric mining truck from Kuhn, currently in operation for the eMining AG in Switzerland. This truck is interesting, because it basically almost never has to be charged, and we explain why.
34 Then, Aptera returns from the dead with their amazing Aptera 2e, which has an incredibly low drag coefficient, and is said to have a range of up to 1000 miles.
00 And then we want to talk about the Tesla Model 3 service problems and Tesla Model 3 service issues which currently plague customers. The German car rental company NextMove wanted to order 100 Model 3s, but apparently the deal was cancelled by Tesla, after NextMove raised some concerns regarding the quality of the first 15 delivered vehicles.
34 We then of course also want to talk about our Tesla Model 3 performance, and why despite some issues that we also have, we'll still always continue to support Tesla, no matter what.
