Rural Roads a Focus for Eastern Highlands says Governor Peter Numu

Eastern Highlands Province (EHP) this year received K7 million in functional grants, the Governor, Peter Numu, says with this amount, his focus will be on fixing rural roads that link large populations such as the Lufa Okapa road.

The Provincial Government is also looking at fixing rural airstrips in rural EHP like Maruwaka in the Obura Wonera District.
