Nintendo Direct reaction videos are a thing of beauty. If you’re massively into Nintendo in any conceivable way, then a Nintendo Direct is basically Christmas for you. Whether its for a port, sequel, brand new IP or even a remake - some massive YouTubers in the past have made reviews of Nintendo Direct in the past with some incredible reactions to brand new releases and secret announcements springing up on them unannounced, all USUALLY with a gameplay demo to accompany it so you can see how everything works instead of just a trailer on its own. I love Nintendo (who doesn’t), especially the Switch - so for the first time ever I decided to actually keep up to date with trending gaming news and give you all my impressions of the most recent Nintendo Direct that happened on 9 4 2019. American dates are confusing. 4 9 2017 makes way more sense. Anyway, believe it or not, E3 2019 was the first time I had ever watched video game conferences and announcements live from home before, meaning it was also the first time I watched a Nintendo Direct live as well, and I loved getting involved with the hype of all the gameplay. I couldn’t make a highlights or impressions video from that E3 2019 Nintendo presentation though since it wouldn’t have fit anywhere on my channel, and it was bad timing anyway, but now with this new-found audience interest for Caddy rants and Caddy reactions without a script (CTR microtransactions, anyone?) I figured it was the perfect time for my impressions of this fall 2019 Nintendo Direct. It’s not really a live viewing with a Nintendo Direct reaction, but more loosely bullet-pointed ramblings talking about Sans Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Banjo Kazooie Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Link’s Awakening Switch, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Animal Crossing Switch or Animal Crossing New Horizons, Pokemon Sword and Shield, the SNES Nintendo Switch Online, Doom 64, Deadly Premonition 2, Super Kirby Clash and many MANY more new games for the Switch. No more 3DS, so I think that’s it for that. Whether it’s for a port, sequel, brand new IP or even a remake - here’s my reaction and thoughts on Nintendo Direct 2019.
