Hungama Kids brings for all its little viewers, a plethora of stories to enjoy, in our Series: 'Bedtime Stories'. Jia and her parents used to live in a small city. Thirteen years old Jia was in class 8th and apart from her studies she used to help her mother in household chores. One fine day Jia's mother told her, Jia, now its time that you start going to the market alone and learn to deal with responsibilities. However Jia's father was skeptical about this idea. After a while Jia's mother came up with an idea and upon hearing it both Jia and her father was all smiles.
The next day Jia's mother asked her, I have made the list of the the things that is required for breakfast. you will have to go the nearby shop and get these items. Since this is your first time, be careful while crossing the road, while dealing with the money and do you remember about the idea that we discussed yesterday? Jia smiled and excalimed, yes mother, I remember it and thus Jia left for the market.
While Jia was returning back home after buying the required items, a man stopped her on the road and announced, you mother has met up with an accident and I have come to take you to the hospital. Sit in my car and and i will take you there. Jia asked him, but who are you? The man replied, I stay in your building and since i have moved in recently you don't know me. Jia smartly said, Ok ..since you have been sent by my parents, they would have given you the code. The man was a little taken aback and argued, you don't have to be afraid of me.. I assure you that I know your parents. Jia bravely told him, I wont go with you untill you tell me the code and if you insist further I would shout and call people. Obviously the man knew nothing about the code. Hence he quickly got into his car and ran away.
Upon reaching Jia saw her mother standing at the door and eagerly waiting for Jia to return. Jia instaly asked, Mummy ..have you been hurt? Her mother denied and asked, but why did you ask? Jia explained and narrated the entire incident and said, the man didn't have the code word that you shared with me the other other day and hence I didn't go with him. Hearing the story, Jia's parents were happy and proud of her and Jia's father exclaimed, hats off to this plan of mother and daughter duo.
