This has been getting worse slowly for 2 months. There was no injury at any time and the black cuticle growing out first was within the skin now is growing into the cuticle--which is virtually certainly cancer. It is on the list for "signs to spot that you have cancer"--this is a classic well known one. Dolores the nurse also agrees it looks like cancer. They likely will cut off the toe immediately and some kind of treatment but this type of cancer means its all over within your system. Hope I am wrong but we all have to die sometime. The chemo and radiation I had a few years those alone you sign forms that you can come down with various cancers years later.
