Women over 21 allowed to go abroad without permission (Saudi Arabia) - BBC News - 2nd August 2019

For the first time, women will be allowed to travel abroad without needing to get permission from a father, husband or other male relative. After international criticism from human rights groups, the new law will apply to over 21s and follows on, from women being allowed to officially drive, last year.
