My favorite exercise is walking - I try to walk 30 - 45 minutes per day. Yes - I said WALKING… not running or sprinting, but a brisk walk for 30 minutes per day.
I try to target an incremental 200-350 calories burned per day due to exercise.
That’s probably all that you need.
Every now and then, I will add in body weight exercises like push-ups or burpees or light weights (15 pound) bicep curls or kettlebell swings, but honestly, I don’t recommend anything too strenuous… especially if you are just getting started.
As mentioned before, this lifestyle is PRIMARILY a change in eating habits and not necessarily a prescriptive workout routine.
