News#115: Huawei Mate 30,Andriod Adware App,Note 10 Bixby Button Disable option,Password Checkup Ex. ЁЯФ╡ The Mate 30 series of smartphones is on its way and from what leaks and rumors about the phones, especially about the Mate 30 Pro, tell us, it's going to be an amazing device, both to look at, and in terms of what it offers. The only thing we haven't really heard too much about is when Huawei might be launching the device.

Well, it looks like the Chinese giant is taking the fight straight to Apple this time around, since new reports from Tech Garage claim that the company will be launching the Mate 30 Pro just a day before the iPhone 11 hits stores.

ЁЯФ╡ Adware apps on Android are unfortunately nothing new, however, a new report from Trend Micro identified 85 adware apps that were a fair bit more complex and advanced than your typical adware.

These apps, most of which were masquerading as photo editing applications or games, employed a bunch of clever methods to display ads to users, while also making it extremely difficult for the user to uninstall them.

ЁЯФ╡The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ bring a bunch of improvements over both their actual predecessor, the Note 9 and also the Galaxy S10 lineup in some ways. One of the improvements made here is the removal of the dedicated Bixby button. With the Note 10 series, the phones only have a power button and a volume rocker, with the power button doubling up as the Bixby button with a long-press by default.

While I am in favour of removing the silly Bixby button, this new set-up is counter-intuitive as well. I mean, normally, long-pressing the power button shows up options to power off or restart your phone among other things, and with the new set-up, you might find yourself making that mistake quite often and launching Bixby all the time.

ЁЯФ╡ Google's Password Checkup extension appears set to soon become a default feature of the Google Chrome browser.

The leak detection feature of Password Checkup, which checks if a user's password is compromised and alerts the users by a drop-down menu box, appears set to soon become a default feature of Google Chrome browser instead of remaining an optional extension.
