My Playthrough of Super Mario Bros. 2 for the NES (all characters equally included)

My Playthrough of Super Mario Bros. 2 for the NES (all characters equally included) Just a heads-up: This is not a no-damage, no-death run. I don't possess the level of skill you would see in other longplays or playthroughs, so you're going to see a few screw-ups and miscalculations (and deaths, of course). This is also not a speed run, so there won't be rushing or skimping through unnecessary parts. Also, I'm neither a hardcore gamer nor an aspiring Youtuber, just somebody who casually enjoys playing some old school Nintendo every now and again, so I don't intend to make a hobby out of recording gameplay. This will most likely be the one and only video I ever publish. My reasoning for even recording this playthrough was to capture and show off my own personal formula for playing this game, and lucky for me I had a friend with the means to help make that happen (i.e. an Elgato capture card).

So what is that formula? It's a particular character order I use that makes it so each character (Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Peach) gets an equal amount of turns and is a highest contributor by the end of the game. That's not all. This particular order also makes it so that each character, except for Mario, gets the beginning stages of two different worlds as well as the final stages of two different worlds. Mario will only get the beginning stage of one world and the final stage of another since there are an odd number of worlds and an even number of characters. Luigi, Toad, and Peach will each get to take on the bosses of two different worlds while Mario will get to take on only one boss -- the final boss, Wart. After all, it's his dream and his game, so it's only fitting, right?
