How to: Repair Clothes using REVERSE APPLIQUÉ | Simple Way to Mend a HOLE or Remove a STAIN

This hand sewing tutorial demonstrates how to remove a hole or small stain from an item of clothing and replace the area with a different piece of fabric.

The resulting repair can be as decorative or as 'invisible' as you like; I chose decorative by using a patterned fabric and contrasting thread, but the same technique can be used much more subtly using a matching fabric and thread.
