Did you know that at the moment Amazon accounts for 49% of e-commerce sales in the United States? And at the same time, online shops focus a lot on Return On Investment and Return On Ad Spend, they focus on short term performance marketing campaigns and they totally ignore building brand awareness. I think that right now if you think that marketplaces in a few years time they will probably account for more than 50% of the market sales. So in this case, I think it is very very important to focus on building a brand and to put at least 30% of your marketing budget into building this brand.
