Decay and decline: Seaside towns desperate for investment A lack of investment, employment and "appalling" transport links are putting the UK's coastal towns at risk according to the chair of a new all-party parliamentary group tasked with reviving seaside resorts.

The Hartlepool MP Mike Hill says coastal communities cannot rely on seasonal trade alone.
