Some of my clients have expressed difficulty in trimming their dog's nails. It doesn't have to be a rodeo. Daisy is a boarding dog here with me for a few days. Her nails resemble talons and I have bruises from her nails when we play together. I'm using 'sit' as a focus point for her brain to put her anxiety about getting her feet and nails trimmed on the back burner. It takes time and patience but it can be done.
