The Lotus Evija is the most powerful production car ever ft. Jeremy Clarkson

H​aving built lightweight sportscars for many decades, Lotus has blasted its own mould to shreds by revealing a 2,000PS, 1,253lb ft hypercar called the Evija.

P​renounced Ev-i-ja, the all-electric weapon is now the most powerful series production car ever, and Mike Fernie managed to go behind the scenes at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to get an exclusive look at this leap into the future.
