Kadenang Ginto: Week 40 Recap - Part 1 Kadenang Ginto July 8-10, 2019
With Romina (Beauty Gonzalez) unemployed following her resignation from Camila, she begins looking for new ventures. However, Daniela (Dimples Romana) refuses to give her the chance to start anew. With the school year at Maxwell drawing near, Marga (Andrea Brillantes) hopes to continue her reign as queen bee with Cassie (Francine Diaz) out of the picture. Unbeknownst to her, Cassie pleads her case to the Maxwell heads for a chance to continue her studies. Elsewhere, Kulas (Ronnie Lazaro) continues to hound Carlos (Adrian Alandy) to return to his wife in order to get the money they need to take their auto shop back.
Daniela (Dimples Romana) grants Marga's (Andrea Brillantes) wish as she lobbies a petition against Cassie's (Francine Diaz) scholarship. Swayed by their complaints, the Maxwell school board break the bad news to Cassie. As Romina (Beauty Gonzalez) struggles to get back on her feet, Daniela's actions against her daughter become the final straw. Exhausted with his wife's vindictive nature, Carlos (Adrian Alandy) threatens her with an ultimatum. Meanwhile, Hector (Joko Diaz) finally tells Daniela his real desires.
Daniela (Dimples Romana) successfully exacts her revenge on Romina (Beauty Gonzalez) for assaulting her. Despite the string of misfortunes on their household, Romina keeps her head held high. As she strives to make ends meet, she finds herself in a chance encounter with a stranger (Richard Yap). Meanwhile, Cassie (Francine Diaz) refuses to give up on her dreams of studying in Maxwell. As the first day of school arrives, Marga (Andrea Brillantes) receives a shocking surprise.
