Rare US ratchet company ratchet set restoration.The U.S. RATCHET WRENCH Company. This set was in poor condition with the Box heavily damaged and coated with layers of grease from heavy use thru the years. This ratchet wrench set was known for being a heavy duty tool with hardly any reports of any breaking . An inclined surface on the adjusting ring retracts one or the other of two spring-loaded ratchet slides. Each of the slides engages a set of ratchet teeth; the two sets of teeth face in opposite directions.
