Super Mario Maker 2 Won't Let You Play With Friends Online (For Stupid Reasons)

Super Mario Maker 2 looks very promising, so of course Nintendo needs to do one thing to sour it. Because Nintendo is Nintendo, and there's always a catch.

You can only play online with randoms in the game, and the reason is absolutely stupid - leaderboards.
