Jermaine Hopkins opened up to VladTV about getting the role of Eric "Steel" Thurman in Juice, and feeling like it was a miracle that he got the role. Hopkins explained that after auditioning and getting the role, he was shot in the leg while living in North Carolina, which required him to get a skin graft. After arriving on set with a limp, Jermaine lied to the producers about the severity of his injuries, but he was outed when they called his doctor.
