Dalit organisations observe bandh in Chamarajanagar condemning the assault on Dalit youth and Santhemarahalli double murder case. Dalit groups demand CBI probe into the two incidents. Protest comes after the humiliating incident where a Dalit man was paraded naked and assaulted by a temple priest and few others on false robbery charge. The outrageous incident took place on June 5. Dalit groups staged protest at Bhuvaneshwari circle in Chamrajnagar. Stray violent incidents reported in the district. Some private schools and colleges have declared holiday.
