[ Real Musculoskeletal alignment Anatomy 14. The AC (AcromioClavicular) joint ]
Follows the last episode 13. The Levator scapulae,
I studied for the downward rotation function of the levator scapulae.
Your shoulder will have elevated posture when the levator scapulae are short.
In the middle of the persons who have elevated posture of the shoulder,
I found the posture with the shortest levator scapulae.
To distinguish these two body types is essential.
1. scapular elevated + Upward rotation of scapula at AC joint
2. scapular elevated + Downward rotation of scapula at AC joint
These give an important lesson for musculoskeletal imbalance, correction, and corrective exercise, etc.
