Here I'm creating a brunaille, a monochromatic painting in browns of a coffee mug with tea. This will be used as a value study base layer of an oil painting (week 2's demo).
Supplies used:
• M.Graham Acrylic paint in Titanium White, Burnt Umber, and a tiny bit of Ultramarine Blue to add to the brown to make a black value.
• Connoisseur burgundy handle Filbert brushes in sizes 4 and 2
• 12x9 canvas panel
• paper palette
• chalk pastel pencil in green (for the initial drawing)
