Rory MacDonald Hints at Uncertain Fighting Future | Luke Thomas

Rory MacDonald Hints at Uncertain Fighting Future | Luke Thomas At Bellator 220, Bellator welterweight champion Rory MacDonald fought to a majority draw with Jon Fitch. MacDonald keeps his title and advances in the grand prix welterweight tourney (he faces Neiman Gracie next). While it is somewhat surprising MacDonald couldn't clearly defeat a Fitch in his 40s, what caught everyone's attention is his post-fight remarks hinting he might not have the will to compete anymore. In this video, I explain why the call to violence is not something everyone has and even for those who have command of it, keeping it can be even more difficult. After aging, taking a ton of abuse in fights with Robbie Lawler or Gegard Mousasi and changing his life outlook, it's not altogether surprising MacDonald feels this way.
