Niall Boylan began by saying that the problem as he saw it was that the public were not we're not allowed to have a debate about immigration and that people who do are often labelled racist.
"We're not allowed to talk about sham marriages. We're not allowed to talk about the 85% of people who are given deportation orders which are never served on them. We're not allowed to talk about bogus asylum seekers. We're not allowed to talk about people who are working in the black economy for example. When the conversation happens, as soon it as it happens somebody is accused of being racist. If we talk about freeloaders or use the word 'freeloaders' — and we do have freeloaders coming into this country. Let's just face the facts. We have people coming into this country..."
Dr Ebun Joseph interjected that "comments like that are the things that incite hatred."
But Boylan replied "See what I mean? This is the nonsense that you're dealing with."
