It’s one of the most widely anticipated American motorcycles in decades, and we FINALLY get to review it! The FTR 1200 S has been grabbing attention and igniting imaginations ever since it was first announced in the Summer of 2018. Taking from its flat track beginnings, the 1200 S is a performance machine that embraces an old-school rambunctiousness while incorporating a plethora of modern-day technological upgrades. For this review, Spurg stepped in for an injured Lemmy and took the FTR 1200 S through the winding tarmac of the California mountains to see how it performed as a sport and touring machine. He also trekked over dirt roads to get a sense of how the motorcycle handled some of the rougher terrain.
