Royal Signals Troop Commanders have to be all rounders – technically able, adaptable and quick thinking. Being a Troop Commander in the Royal Signals allows our young officers to test themselves in challenging environments where getting comms up and running matters not just to them but to the entire battlegroup.
Here they are learning and training on how an initial comms set up is run and put in place using modern equipment over large areas to ensure they are ready for the field Army as expert communicators for the British Army.
